We eagerly anticipate Matt Venuti's visit on May 15. This multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and visual artist will join us for a special Wednesday Evening Experience at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Matt Venuti performs AmeriCosmos, An inspiring, original live music and visual journey through the heart of nature, the depth of sound and the vastness of Space. This event features Matt playing improvised music as a “live soundtrack” to stunning nature footage that he’s captured throughout the US. The instrumentation includes rare and captivating electronic and acoustic instruments that Matt was among the first to bring to the stage. AmeriCosmos also takes an awe-inspiring excursion into Space, with footage courtesy of NASA and the Webb Telescope.
Matt’s innovative music career was launched and cultivated in San Francisco and he tours the country every year as a solo artist. He’s been the Artist In Residence in some of our greatest National Parks and a featured performer at multiple TED and TEDx Conferences. Two of Matt’s albums charted in the top 10 on College Media Journal and Zone Music Reporter. He's performed on numerous national stages and high-profile events…both as a soloist and with his San Francisco-based band.
