LRRC member Matt Pruitt and his friend Bryan set foot on an epic adventure Thursday morning, March 6th, going for the FKT (fastest known time) on the Ouachita Trail. This involves starting at the beginning of the trail in Oklahoma and running the entire 224 mile length, ending at the trailhead by the old Pinnacle Mtn Visitor Center. To celebrate the end of their run, and hopefully a successful record breaking finish, Jeremy Swearingen is organizing a finish line party for them and would love to have as many people there as we can. Obviously their finish time is fluid but is expected to be somewhere between 8:00 am and noon on Sunday, March 9th. They have a crew with them that will keep us updated as they get closer so watch this page for updates!
