Matinee Social Club [Denver]

Matinee Social Club is coming back to Denver! Join us on Saturday, January 18 from 5-10pm. 21+ legally. 30+ culturally.

It's a Matinée event, so you can expect to have a wild dance party that ends at 10pm surrounded by a beautiful crowd of seasoned aka Millennial(ish) party people. Also, pizza is included to keep you going all night.

For those that have been to a Matinee before, a few differences to note...

This time, we're hosting at the historic Apollo Hall, the newly renovated home of Denver's old Suite Two Hundred nightclub & the recent home of Denver's Zodiac Hause.

Matinee founder DJ Vosters will be scoring this event, taking you on a journey through time with his signature blend of disco, divas, 80s-90s dance, and club remixes of tracks from all decades.

For those familiar with Matinee NYC, this will be a combination of our Matinee Disco (70s-90s) at Joyface & our Brighter Days (90s Dance & Disco House) at Cafe Balearica.

For those looking for 90s vs 00s millennial pop & hip-hop, we'll be back with that theme at another event soon. This one will be more on the disco, dance, & electronic/club side. (Yes, we know this is a millennial matinee, but we like the grooves.)

Love to party, but also love a good night’s rest? (Looking at you millennials 👀)
With Matinée, you can have both.
It’s a “night time” dance party that lets you have a wild night out…and be home by 11pm.

The party starts at 5pm, peaks at 8, over at 10. Oh and we serve pizza around 7:30pm to give you a second wind.

Nightlife pretty much only caters to 20 somethings. Matinée wants to change that.

We’re working to create a space where our fellow Millennials and beyond can step away from adult responsibilities and let loose for a while – creating memories with old friends and hopefully make some new ones.
