Welcome to SRO's production of MATILDA JR!

Matilda is a smart, brave little girl with a big imagination—and some very special powers! Even though her parents don’t understand her, Matilda loves books and learning. When she starts school at Crunchem Hall, she finds new friends and a kind teacher named Miss Honey.

But the school is ruled by the scary headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who is mean to everyone! With clever thinking and a little magic, Matilda stands up for what’s right and helps bring kindness and happiness to her school and to Miss Honey’s life.

Matilda Jr. is a fun, exciting musical full of catchy songs, bold characters, and the message that even small kids can make a big difference!
