The Belle Theatre education department proudly presents...Matilda JR starring our Tuesday/Thursday education workshop students!Meet Matilda, a brilliant and imaginative young girl with a love of books and a mind full of big ideas. Despite being misunderstood by her neglectful parents and terrorized by the fearsome headmistress Miss Trunchbull, Matilda refuses to let her circumstances define her.
With courage, cleverness, and a little bit of magic, she discovers her own extraordinary power to stand up for what’s right—and to change her story. Alongside her kind teacher Miss Honey and her classmates, Matilda proves that even the smallest person can make a big difference.
Matilda JR will be performed by students ages 8+ as part of our Spring 2026 Education season at The Belle.
