Frankfort Community Public Library’s Homework Help service is back with regular math tutoring sessions. The program is free and geared toward students in grades 6–12. Sessions are held on Mondays from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Teen Department beginning Sept. 8.Students seeking assistance may simply stop by the Library on Monday evenings, bringing homework or math work with them if possible.
Local educator Jennifer Fitch, who formally taught math courses at Clinton Prairie and is now at Purdue University, leads the sessions. She is excited to be back and hopes to continue helping as many student as possible.
The Library is always looking for experts to add to our list of tutors. If you would like to contribute to the program, volunteer applications are available at myfcpl.org. For more information, contact Rachel Milburn at [email protected] or (765) 654-8746, ext. 1117.
