‘Maters & Mozz’: A Cheese Bar Tasting

At the height of tomato season, we’re leaning into one of the most perfect pairings there is.
This seated tasting at the cheese bar is built entirely around fresh mozzarella in its many forms—mozzarella, stracciatella, and burrata—paired with peak-season North Carolina tomatoes at their absolute best.
Each course explores a different expression of texture and richness, from clean and delicate to deeply indulgent, with tomatoes that shift from bright and raw to slow, concentrated, and savory.
All tomatoes are sourced from the Carrboro Farmers’ Market, where local growers bring in an extraordinary range of varieties at the height of the season.
This is an intimate, four pairings designed to celebrate simplicity, seasonality, and the kind of ingredients that don’t need much—just the right moment.
