Maternal Mental Health Workshop
Come join us at NPT HealthWorks for an informative and supportive workshop focused on maternal mental health. This in-person workshop will provide valuable insights, resources, and strategies for parents navigating the challenges of mental well-being during the parenthood journey. Whether you're a new mom or have multiple children, this workshop aims to create a safe space for sharing experiences and learning from experts in the field. Don't miss this opportunity to prioritize your mental health and connect with other mothers facing similar experiences. In lieu of a ticket price, we are asking for donations at the door to support local maternal mental health.
Meet Our Experts:
Marly Hinestroza-Gaviria, LICSW, PMH-C is a licensed clinical social worker and certified perinatal mental health counselor with 10+ years experience in the mental health space. As a trained birth and postpartum doula, she is commited to supporting families and deeply believes in the importance of the transition to parenthood. She is new to RI, a military spouse, mother to three girls and expecting a baby boy this summer.
Dr. Elizabeth Kilzi, PT, DPT is a Newport-based physical therapist passionate about helping others move and heal. As a mom to Weston and wife to Cori, she has a found a special dedication to supporting perinatal and postpartum mothers outside of her typical PT clients. In 2024, she founded Mamas in Motion, a fitness community empowering moms through movement and connection. Whether in the clinic or leading a class, Liz is committed to helping others feel strong and supported.
