A day long discussion of the scholarship and future of materiality and the study of Africana religious traditions from leading scholars.
About this Event

Materiality and it's manifestations illuminate the study of Africana religious traditions. Scholars from Religious studies, Africana studies, Anthropology and History will meet to discuss the various ways that matieriality has informed their scholarship, and a webinar with leading scholars will discuss both the history and future trajectories for study.

Registration for the conference is essential. The afternoon webinar will be on zoom, but morning sessions will not be streamed.
