Join us on First Friday - October 3rd - for the opening of Material Worlds by Constance Moore.

Material Worlds is a collection of imagined landscapes and natural forms. Made from fabric and paper scraps, the work evokes places both familiar and unknown, where time passes from day to night in a single moment. Bright colorful bits of material create bodies of water, rounded hills, layered ground and lively mountain peaks. Ordinary material blossoms into unique formations of petals, leaves and berries. The work exists between collage and quilting. Reclaimed bits of fabric and paper bring unexpected colors and textural surprises into each sewn piece. Material Worlds celebrates nature through a mix of close observation and playful imagination.
