About this Event
Join us at Wonderyard on Saturday, Feb 8th, for an evening of craft cocktails, apres ski vibes, and meeting your most compatible match just a week before Valentine’s Day.
Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. It’s also the same technology behind the Marriage Pact, tradition at 100+ universities that's matched more than half a million people to date.
How it works:
- Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists.
- The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
- After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!
Ticket Includes:
- One complimentary cocktail or mocktail and the matching experience included in the $25 ticket price.
Who it’s for:
- The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind!
- If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
- At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and mingle with like minded individuals!
Event Structure:
- This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
- 7:30pm—the event begins on time, bar opens
- 8:00pm—event doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches
- 8:15pm—mingle with the group in the heated/tented Courtyard.
- 8:30pm—a series of clues
- 9:00pm—matches revealed
- 10:00pm—event concludes
FAQs:
Q: What age range is the event for? A: This event is for mid-twenties to mid-thirties.
Q: What is your refund policy? A: We need to balance the party, and that involves planning! So no refunds can be granted within 4 days of the event, although in rare cases we may be able to extend a credit to a future event.
Q: What if I don't get a match? A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.
