Matcha Bowl Date Night Pottery Class - Beginner Friendly Ceramics Workshop

Join us at Two Faced Ceramics on Melrose Ave in West Hollywood for a fun, beginner-friendly pottery class! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your very own ceramic matcha bowl while learning introductory handbuilding techniques. No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and creativity! Perfect for a creative date night, outing with friends, or a relaxing solo experience.

This class focuses on handbuilding pottery and does not include wheel throwing.

Children ages 3–10 are invited to join our classes with the purchase of a Children’s Ticket. Please note:

• Every Children’s Ticket must be with an accompanying Adult Ticket.
• The adult must remain present throughout the entire class.
• Children arriving without an adult will not be admitted.

This policy helps us ensure a safe, fun, and supportive experience for all participants.

• Craft your own ceramic matcha bowl with guidance from our instructors
• Choose from six glaze finishes: matte white, matte dark aqua, green, blue, opal, or pink
• Learn introductory pottery and handbuilding techniques suitable for beginners
• Finished pieces available for pick-up 4-6 weeks after class

Materials & Attire

• All pottery materials and aprons provided
• Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty
• Bring a sketchbook or inspiration ideas if you’d like

Please arrive 15 minutes early and allow extra time to find street parking, which can be limited at this location.
