THE DAY:
Through ritual & ceremony, we co-create a sacred space together. Working with Shamanic Journeying & the Medicine Sphere (four directions) to explore what this threshold of change, our new year here in Aotearoa, means for you. Dive into a day of communing with your inner self, the Divine, your Ancestors & your Spiritual guides/guardians.
THE INTENTION:
We will take time to reflect on the year gone by - honouring the past & all that we have walked through. Conciously taking account of what we wish to carry through into the next chapter & what we want to leave behind. The Pleiaedians, the beings of Matariki, have asked us to raise our vibration as we vision our individual & collective futures. To take stock & open ourselves to the potential that awaits. Through deep release, we set ourselves free to fly fully into our future unburdened.

Matariki is the Maori new year, our new year here in Aotearoa. We can start to see Matariki rising on the eastern horizon at dawn, just before sun rise around June 19th. It is a time of honouring the past, the dead & celebrating/looking forward to the year ahead. It’s a powerful time to receive messages & guidance for the future.
As I tune into this time of Matariki I feel a real potential to release the burdens of the past, the imprint of the hardship we & previous generations have walked through. To W**d out where responsibility to others, fear & the influence of others expectations or our own expectations which aren't actually in alignment to our truth anymore infrom our dreams & goals for the future.
It feels radical & simple.
No experience with shamanic practices required, we start the day by journeying to our power animal. This is the first initiation into shamanic journeying. Our power animal is a part of us & reflects our power, nature & gifts.

ABOUT KATIE:
Katie Milne is a Shamanic Practitioner from Tamaki Makaurau. Having always had a deep curiosity around the mysteries of life, Katie landed in the pathway of the Shamanic arts 7 years ago. Dedicating herself to this training, refining the art of walking between the worlds & supporting others, like her, became her mission. Studying Plant Spirit Medicine & Rongoa along the way, Katie endeavours to indigenize and de-colonize herself as Medicine Women. Believing that the wisdom that our indigenous roots, honouring the inter-connectedness of all life is the pathway through to healing ourselves & this planet.
