About this Event
Adding a second night for the amazing duet of sisters Hitomi Oba (Tenor saxophone) and Erika Oba (flute) with a very different peach menu, this time with Thai flavors. We expect (harvest times are not easily predictable) have Sun Crest peaches and Summercrest nectarines from the Masumoto Farm for this menu. I have been doing peach menus with the heirloom harvests from this brilliant farm for 2 decades and recently Hitomi and Erika collaborated with David Mas Masumoto with the Fresno symphony for a new composition that was recently premiered and a new book that will come out later this year.
As i write this, i am back once again in Bangkok and will be doing more studies with an amazing Thai vegan chef while spending the month of April in this amazing city. And this menu will reflect much of what i am learning about Thai food on these trips with this amazing chef. This will be a rather unique menu as peaches are clearly not part of Thai cuisine
