About this Event
Masterpieces in Motion will blend art, fashion, and design, emphasizing local culture and community, featuring an art & fashion show where local models will strut down the runway adorned in KA’s distinctive artwork, apparel, and accessories, as well as other Houston designers' fashion. We'll highlight Houston’s artistic spirit as a catalyst for ongoing collaborations and community engagement, elevating Houston’s status as a hub of artistic innovation.
My community consists of multifaceted women who balance careers, entrepreneurship, creativity, and motherhood, while appreciating organization and luxury. This project empowers them by showcasing diverse local talent, including models of all shapes, sizes, and shades, thus celebrating inclusivity in beauty and fashion. Masterpieces in Motion meets the community’s need for representation, especially for Black luxury designers. The event will feature an integration of visual art and fashion, where each model represents a moving canvas, creating a fluid connection between different mediums.
