Introducing a two-part learning experience where you will gain the skills and confidence in working with volunteers.

Part one will cover the basic roles and skills needed as a volunteer staff liaison and how the latest trends impact your role. In part two, you’ll explore strategies, techniques and tools to help you make the most of the staff-volunteer relationship. The program includes a Readiness Assessment to help you identify your current skills and knowledge and map your learning journey.

Whether you oversee a cadre of volunteers or work closely with specific volunteer groups, this program will take your work to the next level.

Immerse yourself into the staff liaison world as we explore working with association volunteers from many angles. Topics include helping the chair succeed in their role, evaluating the group work and progress, and working with unengaged or difficult volunteers. Leave with actionable ideas and a learning plan to continue your development.
