Get ready to level up your dance game! Join us for a deep dive into head movements to add style, technique, and creativity to your Bachata and Brazilian Zouk.Whether you’re just starting or have experience, this module is tailored to elevate your skills and help you gain confidence in lead and follow techniques for head movements, tilted turns, dives and more! Expect focused practice, expert guidance, and the chance to refine your dancing.
No matter your experience level, this 4-week module will give you the skills to lead and follow head movements safely and with confidence.
Throughout the 4 weeks we’ll work on:
-Learning the core techniques of head movements in Bachata and Zouk, essential for safe and stylish dancing.
-Adding new moves to your repertoire with creative sequences.
-Balance, inertia, and fluidity to increase your range.
-Adding flair and individuality to your dance with these techniques!
🕒 Module Structure
This module will have one comprehensive track with a break and a relaxed practice session to finish off the evening!
7:45 PM-8:00 PM | Registration & Warm-Up
Arrive, check in, and get ready to start with some light stretching and movement to ease into the session.
8:00 PM - 8:45 PM | Technical Exercises & Drills
We will start with foundational exercises focused on core techniques and essential movements to build your head movement skills from the ground up.
8:45 PM - 8:50 PM | Break
8:50 PM - 9:40 PM | Head Movement Combinations
Each week, we’ll introduce a series of head movement combinations, working with different techniques and dynamics to help you express in your dance.Get ready to create smooth, expressive sequences!
9:40 PM - 10:30 PM | Practice Session
Put your new skills into action! Enjoy a fun and social practice to experiment with the techniques and combinations you learned in a relaxed, supportive environment.
