With Record Store Day coming up on Saturday April 20, we’re pleased to announce our collaboration with Audio Foundation, hosting a Panel Discussion on Mastering for Physical Media from 2-4pm.Looking at all aspects of the process, we’ll be discussing the considerations to take into account when working with physical media, especially vinyl (we may even take a look at cassettes and CDs too!). This is a free event, with members of MPGNZ and Audio Foundation having exclusive first access to tickets – follow the link in our bio to secure yours. Any remaining tickets will open to the general public soon.
Joining the panel we have Tom Henderson from Holiday Records, Mastering Engineer Josh Llewellyn from Downbeat Mastering along with artist, musician, and avid consumer Kyle Sattler. The discussion will be moderated by MPGNZ Executive Committee Member Emily Wheatcroft Snape.
