Learning Objectives:
- Understand the rational for endodontic technical and clinical procedures and its limitations.
- Be familiar with routine endodontic armamentarium and the use of endodontic instruments.
- Understand safe, predictable, and efficient use of NiTi rotary file systems.
- Understand endodontic diagnosis and prognosis.
- Be familiar with warm vertical and single cone obturation techniques.
- Interpret and record radiographic findings relating to endodontic procedures.
- Troubleshoot common problems in endodontic treatment.
Speaker:
Dr. Moein Sadrkhani is a native of Iran and received the early portion of his education at prestigious institutions in that country. He earned a pre-college diploma at the School of National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents in Urmia, Iran. Upon graduation, Dr. Sadrkhani moved to Los Angeles, where he continued his journey to an endodontics fellowship at UCLA.
While at UCLA, Dr. Sadrkhani completed three years of research and teaching before earning his Master of Oral Biology and endodontic residency certificate. Dr. Sadrkhani is also the endodontic course director and adjunct assistant professor for advanced education in general dentistry residency program at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. He served as the residents and new practitioners committee chair at the American Association of Endodontics for three years and now he is a board Trustee at AAE’s Foundation for endodontics. He remains dedicated to the research and academics that continue to advance modern endodontics.
