The year is 1755, and Carnival season has transformed Venice into a city of secrets, indulgence, and illusion. Tonight, beneath glittering chandeliers and behind ornate masks, the grand masquerade ball begins- a rare night where status fades, identities blur, and anyone can become anything.
Nobles dance with commoners, strangers whisper like old friends, and no one is quite who they seem.
But anonymity comes at a cost.
All eyes have quietly turned to a mysterious figure dressed entirely in red - seen drifting through the crowd, exchanging hushed conversations with several guests. Yet when questioned, no one claims to know them.
Then-crash...
A glass shatters. Music halts. gasps ripple through the room.
The figure in red lies motionless on the floor.
