Acceptable Materials - Any non-paper media, such as x-rays, film, tapes, CDs, etc., must be separated from the paper material. We can shred paper clips, binder clips, staples, butterfly clips, spiral notebooks, and metal-tabbed hanging folders along with your paper. We cannot shred three-ring binders or other large metal bindings.Confidentiality - VRC/Vital Shred shall not inspect, view, peruse, copy, or in any way examine the Client’s documents. Nor shall VRC/Vital Shred otherwise disclose, release, or communicate any confidential information to any third person, individual, organization, or entity.
Liability - VRC/Vital Shred is not liable for the acts of any malicious third parties that result in the loss of documents.
Compliance - All shredding is done in full compliance with all relevant federal and state data security laws, including HIPAA, HITECH, FACTA, and the GLB Act.
