MCP along with Director Robert Terry, Producer Tess Catlin, Music Directors Luke & Kassidy Mayernik, Instrumental Director Lara Gonzalez, and Stage Manager Jess Bunn are excited to invite you to "the room where it happened."1776 chronicles the events leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the founding fathers come alive in this classic American musical. John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson fight for liberty against a deadlocked Continental Congress in a retelling filled with humor, romance, pathos, and nail-biting tension.
Join us this summer, performances for 1776 will be July 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th, and 18th at 8pm and July 12th at 2pm.
All performances are at the Mason Community Playhouse, 5529 Mason Road in Mason.
Tickets are $20 for Adults and $18 for Students/Seniors.
1776 is the "liberty" portion of our Fighting for Life, LIBERTY, and the pursuit of Happiness season, honoring the semiquincentennial of the United States. Make sure you are there in July to travel back to where it all began 250 years ago.
