Day 1: 10 am - 1:00 pm
You will be guided to create a plaster mask directly on your face. It’s a playful and creatively messy process. There is nothing quite like the sensation of the plaster drying as a version of you begins to emerge. With a gentle intention, you’ll be invited to relax into the experience and allow whatever wants to unfold to take shape.
Day 2: 10 am - 1:00 pm
After the mask has dried overnight, you’ll spend time decorating it. All art and creative materials are provided, and you’re welcome to bring small objects, textures, or symbols from home if you feel called to personalize your mask.
No artistic skill is needed. You will be guided step by step through the process. There will also be space for journaling and optional sharing, and you are free to participate in whatever way feels right for you.
Taalya Areli, PhD, is the founder of Sanctuary Within. Combining psycho-spiritual depth work and expressive arts, she has spent many years supporting people through periods of transition, self-discovery, and creative exploration. Her workshops offer a unique opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and return to a more creative, playful, and open space within yourself.
