Mashed Poetics is a night of music and spoken word mash up and collaboration taking place primarily on the Unceded Traditional Lands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples.It's with deep respect and gratitude that we share our music and words where Oral Traditions have been taking place for over 10,000 years.
This event will feature the music of Tegan and Sara as performed by "The Con" as well as 10 poets writing and performing new work inspired by this duo who once featured at the Vancouver Poetry Slam (according to Al Mader)
We'll be back at the Verses Festival main venue, Chill-X Studios for the show. Mashed Poetics sold out last year and the year before that so don't sleep on getting your ducats as soon as you can. They are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
