CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA is a story of love, betrayal, heartache, and violence brought to life by Sotto Voce’s signature expressive singing and innovative staging. The production features both local and national talent and showcases the power of bel canto vocal technique. Two original short films accompanying the Overture and Intermezzo will enrich the audience’s understanding of the characters’ emotions and the story’s dramatic stakes, and a magnificent set will transport them to the small town in Italy where the story takes place.
