About this Event
“Masa Masterclass: Granja to Table Experience” continues our Masa Masterclass series that began earlier this year. This time, we’re taking it up a level by offering a farm-to-table experience. Join us and Alberto and Alejandro Rodriguez of Dos Caras for a guided farm tour, ingredient harvesting session, Nixtamalization and milling lesson and hands-on huarache making. Afterward, we’ll cook our handmade huaraches on a comal and share a meal al aire libre!
Dos Caras specializes in pre-colonial cooking techniques from Mexico. They create delicious plant-based dishes that remind some of home and others of the range of flavors in Mexican culture. Re:Vision loves having them as tenants in the Re:Vision commissary kitchen and part of our Westwood community of food entreprenuers.
