4-H Public Speaking gives youth the opportunity to grow their voice, build confidence, and develop leadership skills that last a lifetime. County and city Champions are eligible and encouraged to compete at the State 4-H Public Speaking Contest, where communication, creativity, and critical thinking shine.Public speaking in 4-H isn’t just about winning, it’s about growth. Each participant builds poise, professionalism, and the ability to organize and present ideas clearly and persuasively. Judges provide valuable feedback to help youth strengthen their skills and continue developing as confident communicators.
