Mary Sterner Lawson is a prominent artist and arts advocate in the Tallahassee area. She has had a significant number of group and solo exhibitions for her works in watercolors, pen and ink, acrylics, portrait sketches, and clay sculptures.Arcadia Publishing recently reissued her book, “June Bug’s Grocery and the Cornfield Jook,” an oral history of nearly sixty interviewees’ reminiscences of South Albany, Georgia, that is illustrated with many historic and contemporary photos.
Her book and art will be showcased at the store on October 4th from 1-3 PM! As always, refreshments are provided!
