WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
We all love the idea of a do-over. This 2-day workshop will give you and your paintings a second chance. To get the most out of the experience, you are encouraged to bring in at least 3-5 paintings that “just don’t work.” You haven’t thrown them away, but you also haven’t been willing to show them off.
Mary Jane will help you rediscover the piece and find ways to reclaim what’s working and rework what’s not by using the elements and principles of design. Beyond that, however, we’ll attempt to revive what excited you about the piece in the first place.
In an age where recognizing resources are finite, finding ways to reclaim materials is not only responsible, it also allows us to experience the joy in saving a piece we thought was lost.
