This workshop is for the afternoons of April 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2025 from 1PM - 5PM.

Learn ways to create paintings that connect with people on an emotional level. Art can be so much more than just a pretty picture. In this workshop I will be teaching steps that can bring a new freshness and excitement to your work. In this 4-week workshop I will talk about how composition and design can tell a story (even with ordinary subject matter). How to use color to create moods, textures that vibrate with energy and more.There will be discussion, handouts and demos each session. You will have a chance to work on your own painting and time between each session to process and practice what we have covered.
