Join us at Video Vortex at Alamo Drafthouse Raleigh and explore the All-New, All Different d616 system with Marvel Multiverse RPG, designed by award-winning game designer Matt Forbeck.
Whether you are new to roleplaying games or a tabletop veteran, our professional Narrators will guide the table through the Escape from Planet Hulk Starter Set, the best entry point to explore the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. The set contains everything you need to swing into the game and experience the thrilling loves of Super Heroes firsthand including:
- A condensed ruleset
- Six pre-generated characters to choose from
- Maps, token, and more!
Your ticket comes with a 30-minute introduction to the game, lead by your Narrator, and a one-shot adventure that takes 2-3 hours to complete.
About the d616 system:
- Only need 3 six-sided dice to get started to play.
- Rolling a 1 on your Marvel die is called a Fantastic success. It grants special effects plus "yes, and..." results.
- Characters can be anywhere between Rank 1 (Rookie) to Rank 6 (Cosmic). You can use a pre-existing character, or create your own.
- Increase your odds of success with Edges, but be careful to avoid Trouble, which makes skill checks more difficult
