Been thinking about starting your own Purple Martin colony or just want to learn more? Join the Wisconsin Purple Martin Association and Marsh Haven Nature Center for MARTINFest 2026 on June 27, 2026 at Marsh Haven Nature Center. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn all about Purple Martins from statewide experts. Plus you'll be able to talk with representatives from Bluebird Restoration Association, Save our Songbirds, Bird City Wisconsin, Lake Michigan Bird Observatory, Dane County Humane Society, and the Horicon Marsh Bird Club. There will be bird banding demonstrations, educational sessions, and children's activities. No need to RSVP and the event is free. Food will be available for purchase.
