The program will begin promptly at 3 PM, followed by an opportunity for visitors to explore the Mobile Museum.Upon entering, visitors will encounter four captivating displays, immersing them in the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through the powerful oration of his speeches.
The event will showcase:
Books by Dr. King and other prominent authors.
Magazines, newspapers, and stamps commemorating key milestones of the Civil Rights Movement.
100 cereal boxes highlighting African American athletes and their contributions to sports.
A photo gallery featuring local African American figures from the Huntersville and Charlotte regions.
It is expected to be a cross-generational experience.
