Come to the Irondale Public Library on Thursday April 10 at 6pm for an evening with author Martie Duncan, presented by the Friends of the Irondale Public Library. Martie Duncan is a chef, author, and event designer. She was a finalist on the eighth season of Food Network Star, and has won
Guy’s Grocery Games on Food Network where she can also be seen as a judge on the popular competition show Beat Bobby Flay.
As the food ambassador for the State of Alabama, Martie has written five cookbooks featuring recipes and travel tips from her home state. Her most recent book, The Alabama 100 Best Recipes, Restaurants & Road Trips, 2024 was released in December.
