Description:

I Deliver Parcels in Beijing is an honest and startling first-person portrait of Hu Anyan's struggle against the dehumanizing nature of our contemporary global work system and his discovery of the power of sharing a story and insights into consumption culture from within Mainland China. About the Speaker:

Hu Anyan was born in 1979. He began writing in 2009. His works have appeared online and in some periodicals. In 2023, he published his autobiography of working as a migrant worker, I Deliver Parcels in Beijing. In 2024, he published his collection of essays, 我比世界晚熟 and 生活在低處. He currently lives in Chengdu.
