Description: 6.5 miles Grade B no stiles.Meet: 10.00 Marple Bridge Car Park
Terrain: Country Lanes, woodland paths, tracks and towpaths. A few gentle ascents one long descent.
Route: Along the canal then down to the Goyt, through Strines, then Brook Bottom,Linnet Clough, and along lakes Road back to Marple Bridge.
Car Route: Along the A57 turn left at the traffic lights under the viaduct. At the traffic lights in Marple Bridge turn right and immediate right up to the car park. I’m told you now have to pay for parking.
Car Share: £1.50 + contribution to parking
