This training can be taken in person at Omaha Integrative Care or Live via Zoom.In this weekend workshop, you will learn about Marma Points (energy/pressure points) in Asana, including Yin and Hatha poses. We will also practice Marma Meditation/ Relaxation, and Pranayama.
Rather than through the lens of Meridians, Chakras, or Anatomy in Asana, we will look through the lens of Ayurveda, Reflexology and acupressure points. We will compare and contrast this lens to that of Traditional Chinese Medicine and more!
Just added! We will explore using tuning forks with Marma Points as well!
This additional perspective provides another layer of depth, benefit, understanding, and meaning to the practice of Yoga, as well as offering a new insight and inspiration for class planning and themes.
