Join an Escoffier Chef for a trip to H Mart, your local Asian supermarket! We will purchase fresh fish and fresh vegetables.
About this Event

This hands-on class begins with an exciting guided shopping trip to H Mart, where you'll explore aisles filled with unique ingredients, learn how to select the best produce, and discover new pantry staples. After shopping, we'll head back to the culinary school to transform your finds into an incredible meal.

Under the guidance of a skilled chef, you'll learn techniques for preparing authentic dishes inspired by global cuisines, all while gaining confidence in using new ingredients. Whether you're an adventurous foodie or new to cooking, this class promises a fun and immersive experience that brings the market to life in your kitchen. Come hungry and ready to cook!

We will meet at H Mart in Westminster at 10:30, please be on time. Look for Chef Dallas who will be in an Escoffier Chef coat. Feel free to text him at 503-708-0423.

What is the cancellation policy?

Event registrations can be refunded through Eventbrite up to 7 days prior to the event date. Event registrations are non-refundable less than 7 days prior to the event. Missed events may not be made up.

The school reserves the right to cancel any event not meeting sign up standards and to change recipes based on product availability.

*It is extremely rare for an event to be canceled due to weather.

Is there an age requirement?

Participants under the age of 18 may attend our events when they register and attend the event with a parent or guardian.

Is there a dress code?

This is a hands-on cooking event. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. For safety reasons, please do not wear shorts, skirts or sandals. If you have long hair, please pull it back during the event.
