About this Event
Join Community Futures Highwood in partnership with Business Link, High River Library, and Foothills Community Immigrant Services for a practical in person workshop designed to help you apply market research to your marketing efforts.
Many businesses struggle to know what to post, who they are speaking to, or why certain content performs better than others. Market research helps provide direction by clarifying your audience, your positioning, and the problems your business is solving. This session focuses on using research to guide your social media decisions so your efforts are more intentional and consistent.
This workshop is suited for entrepreneurs and small business owners in the start up or early growth stages who want a clearer foundation for their marketing efforts.
In this session, you will learn:
• How to define and refine your target market using research tools and available data
• How industry and competitor research can influence your messaging and positioning
• How customer needs and buying behaviour can inform what you post online
• The basics of creating simple surveys to gather useful audience feedback
• What research supports and services are available through Business Link
The facilitator will highlight practical ways market research can inform your social media approach and day to day marketing decisions.
Learn how to align your social media strategy with solid research and make more confident, data informed marketing decisions.
Who Should Attend: Small business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, home-based business operators, side-hustlers, creatives, service providers, and anyone who wants a simple and supportive introduction to business planning.
