Mark Hummel’s world-renowned Blues Harmonica Blowout™ returns to Portland with an all-star lineup celebrating the very best in traditional and contemporary blues. Since 1991, the Blowout has brought together the most influential harmonica players and blues musicians on one stage, creating a rotating, high-energy revue unlike any other touring blues show.
This year’s lineup features Curtis Salgado, Magic Dick, R.J. Mischo, Anson Funderburgh, and Steve Freund, backed by an elite rhythm section including Wes Starr on drums and Rodrigo Mantovani on bass. Expect deep grooves, fiery solos, and spontaneous collaborations throughout the night.
The show takes place at Jack London Revue, an intimate jazz club located beneath the Rialto Poolroom Bar & Cafe in downtown Portland.
