About this Event
Failure isn’t something that invokes fear, when it comes to the Fuhrer. Failing forward, gracefully, has become his life-long mantra.
Mark Fuhrer started his adventure into the entertainment industry via the music business, where he wrote songs for country music radio, some of which got recorded by the likes of major label artists such as Kane Brown and Jackie Lee. He was signed to Universal Music and worked closely with the biggest artists and songwriters in Nashville and LA.During his songwriting career, he would go to comedy open mics to explore his creative outlets more. He liked writing songs for other artists, but he really wanted to further explore the artist within himself.Louis CK’s material made him fall in love with comedy in middle school. Growing up with the likes of Robin Williams, John Candy and Norm Macdonald also helped foster Mark’s inevitable love for comedy and comedic healing. Weird Al was Mark’s first ever concert, at just 7 years old. He would grow up, hearing most of Weird Al’s parodies before he heard the actual songs they were parodying. In 2024, Mark left his songwriting career behind for good, as he embarked on his full time journey as a stand up comedian.
Mark has shared the comedy stage with the likes of Orny Adams, Tom Arnold, Sheng Wang, and more. Come watch him film his first ever comedy special. Featuring Mark Fuhrer, Sam Harter and Tony Clifton. Directed by Sandy Danto
