100 years ago the first scuba dives of the Lakeland took place just off the shores of Sturgeon Bay. The technology that allowed those dives to happen was pioneered right here in Wisconsin-- a lot of which is still used today in commercial diving. Join us as we learn more about how those dives took place without modern conveniences. Presenter: Bill Pelky, DESCO Corporation The Door County Medical Center Maritime Speaker Series programs are the first Thursday of each month, October through April, beginning at 7pm, on the second floor of the Museum, and online.
