Welcome to Maritime Innovation Week 2024, hosted by the 2050 Maritime Innovation Hub.
Join us at the BT Tower in London ( and ), and the 2050 Maritime Innovation Hub, Port of Tyne (21st November). , and the ). Each day will be filled with inspirational ideas, networking opportunities, and the latest innovations in the maritime industry. Our theme for 2024 is Accelerate and Amplify - innovating faster and better, getting research and new technologies, materials, fuels into scaleable solutions.
This is an amazing opportunity to witness engaging panels, action-focused round tables, and inspiring keynotes from industry leaders, ideal for anyone passionate about collaborating to shape the future of the maritime sector.

The focus on Day 1 will be on Maritime Futures, exploring the latest in decarbonisation and tech advancements, and potential scenarios for the coming years.
Tuesday 19th November Day 1 Themes:

- Real-life case studies of progressive maritime innovation in practice.
- Leading sustainable innovation.
The day includes:
- A keynote welcome address from DfT.
- Future of maritime sessions with expert industry futurists Nick Chubb from Thetius and Jake Rigby of BMT.
- Fireside chats and panel sessions with industry leaders on Sustainable Shipping and Decarbonising Ports and Harbours.
- A dynamic session on connectivity, 5G, 6G and beyond, with experts from BT.
- Insights from Nissan on supply chain innovations.
- Sunset drinks at the top of the BT Tower on us at the end of the dat - an exclusive opportunity that's not open to the public. BT will also spoil us all with great food and refreshments throughout the day.
