About this Event
WMF Members and friends:
Please join the Washington Maritime Federation (WMF) Board and our partners for a day of in-person advocacy with “Maritime Day 202,” set for Wednesday, January 29 in Olympia, WA.
Our annual Maritime Day event gives participants the opportunity to join fellow maritime industry leaders from around the state in meetings with elected leaders on the Capitol Campus in Olympia, followed by an evening reception with legislators, staff and industry stakeholders.
Join us on January 29 for a welcome kickoff breakfast at 0700, with a brief program beginning at 0730. Then, we will head out to the targeted meetings with legislators and staff that we have set up for you. The various legislative meetings run from 0800 -- 1700 and typically last about 15 minutes per meeting.
Attendees will receive details on agenda, speakers, and legislative objectives for the meetings closer to January 29.
To cap off this signature event, WMF will once again co-host an evening reception in Olympia with the Washington Public Ports Association.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ATTENDEES: We need all attendees to RSVP by January 12.
Cost: We are asking members to pay a $125 registration fee (plus an Eventbrite-ticketing service charge), which covers all food, meeting materials, and helps us cover our costs.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. We hope to see you on Jan. 29!
Sincerely,
Chad See
