Mario is a Brazilian artist based in London and a leading name in the Brazilian jazz scene in Europe. His music brings together samba, jazz and bossa nova, with rich harmony and subtle rhythmic detail. Over more than twenty years on stage he has performed at renowned venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express, Jazz Cafe and Crazy Coqs, and at festivals in many countries across Europe and beyond.

For this concert at Café CoCo, Mario will present a seventy five minute set of Brazilian jazz and bossa nova. His warm voice, expressive guitar playing and carefully crafted arrangements create a sound that is both sophisticated and welcoming.
