Join Us at the Mariners’ MilKids Festival! 🇺🇸💜The Newport News Extension Master Gardeners are excited to take part in the Mariners’ MilKids Festival on Sunday, April 19 from 12–4 PM on the Museum Front Lawn!
Stop by our booth where we’ll have: Our Mobile Help Desk will be ready to answer your gardening questions, from pollinator gardens to vegetable gardening and more. Plus, a fun hands-on kids’ activity perfect for young nature lovers
This special event celebrates the Month of the Military Child, honoring the strength and sacrifices of military kids and their families. The afternoon will be filled with carnival games, a scavenger hunt, hands-on learning activities, park exploration, and more.
Don’t forget to wear purple, the signature color honoring all branches of the US military.
