Marimba Cafe is a vibrant showcase of performances featuring musicians aged 8-80. This joyful celebration of rhythm and community highlights the power of marimba music while supporting music and cultural education in Zimbabwe.Proceeds benefit two nonprofit organizations - Matanho Project, www.matanhoproject.org and Humwe, www.humwe.org - dedicated to preserving culture, nurturing talent, and expanding access to music education for all.
2-4:30 PM features Student Marimba Bands.
6 - 9 PM Dance to Special Guests Dandemutande from Bellingham, Rubatano, Mumhanzi, and more.
