New Orleans based quintet —pronounced like "your house"—has made their way through Louisiana blurring the lines of R&B and jazz, while creating an outlet for the musicality of its members. Original collaborators and have generated this creative space to spread innovative musical ideas within a community of like-minded artists.
Their influences range from creators such as Hiatus Kaiyote and Robert Glasper for ideas of chordal structure, and take percussive and rhythmic inspiration from artists such as Yussef Dayes and Richard Spaven. After gaining multiple residencies in New Orleans and headlining their own shows, YOUSE now returns to the Marigny Opera House for Marigny Opera YOUSE!
