This is the annual Marietta July 4th Parade, which will be held in downtown Marietta near Marietta
Square on Friday July 4th, 2025. The gathering place for the CGCC for this parade will be at Cobb
Elections HQ, 995 Roswell St., Marietta GA, just west of Cobb Parkway, as noted by the blue “F”
in the map shown below. This is the same marshaling/gathering point as in previous years. As of
right now, I do not know what our entry number is in the parade route. The parade (about 1 1/2
miles long) kicks off at 10:00AM. Per the City of Marietta Parade Coordinator, Emily Zillweger,
we need us to be in this staging area, no later than 8:00AM so we need to leave our meeting area, no
later than 7:45AM, since the streets leading to this location will be shut down to any additional
traffic.
Let’s meet at 119 Cobb Pkwy N, just north of Roswell St. There is a large parking lot there and
there is also Northern Tool Equipment, Office Depot and Music & Arts (Formerly Ken Stanton)
as reference. It is directly across from the White-Water Business Center. We should plan on
meeting there at 7:15AM and then leave around 7:45AM for our destination at 995 Roswell
Street. I will be looking for a place for us to gather after the parade to have lunch, but since it is
July 4th holiday, I hope some places will be open for lunch. If I can, I will also make reservations
for the entire group. Most of the information that you may need for the parade will be enclosed
with the packets that will be sent out once you have signed up. If you have not received a packet

you as soon as possible. Please note that per the City of Marietta, our entry is
limited to 10 cars. Although the City of Marietta would prefer convertibles, coupes will
