Scottish saxophonist Lewis Banks and Armenian pianist Marianna Abrahamyan met at an audition in 2017, and by 2019 had made their London debut at The Purcell Room. No strangers to diverse and adventurous programming, the duo will deliver a singular recital experience at the Glasgow Art Club, combining the sublimity of Bach with the fiery, flamenco influences of Santiago Baez (via Bizet and Ella Fitzgerald) and everything in - between.
